30 DAYS CHALLANGE - WAKING UP AT 5.A.M.
Hello Y'All!
It's the end of the first month in 2020 and I guess the free trial of the year has expired.
New year means new resolutions, and that's what usually people do to improve and develop themselves. Some people making a resolutions like losing weight, eat healthier food, exercise more, and other good things. Also, some people do their lists of resolution in one time, like waking up at 5 A.M, after that go for a jog, etc. for me that kind of resolution is hard to do. I'm not kind of people who can do new things in one time, maybe I can stand that new habits for only 5 or 10 days.
Lucky me, I 've watched a video from a youtuber named Matt, he shared his new habits to develop himself in a year. But, he did it one habit per a month, so that 12 new habits in a year. He said that he's not the typical of people like me, who can't stand do new things in one time. So I'm gonna try his tricks in 2020. Which habits will change my life, because maybe for some people waking up at 5 A.M. really change their life, but for others it's not change anything.
So, I've made 12 list of new habits and put them on every month. January is the beginning of the year so I put new habits to start my day, like waking up at 5 A.M. To be honest, I'm not finish the challenge, only 23 of 31 days that I woke up at 5 A.M.. So many reasons to tell you why I didn't wake up at 5 A.M., like slept late made me so sleepy so I couldn't wake up at 5, or I just too tired after quiet long trip to Jakarta.
Like I said, it's a free trial. Do I feel something different after waking up at 5 A.M. for 23 days? The answer is NO! I didn't feel anything like more productive or healthier, I only felt sleepy. That's just what I felt. After waking up at 5.a.m., I usually do the early morning prayer, and maybe go to bed again, but with this challenge I shall not sleep again, I should do something. What did I do? I drank a mineral water, danced, or just watched YouTube, etc. or took a shower. But I didn't feel something different, it was just like waking up at 8 A.M. but only more darker, because the sun has not come up yet.
So, for me waking up at 5 A.M., do not affects my life at all. Maybe it works for you? Should try it, because life is trial and error. If it's not fit for you, then at least you know it. Go explore yourself, to know yourself better.
See you next month!
